Love Dog Adventures

Love Dog Adventures, a Pet Partner Community Partner animal therapy program, inspires physical and emotional healing by creating custom protocols for therapeutic and educational animal-assisted interactions.

Every volunteer therapy team representing Love Dog Adventures is trained, tested and insured by the nationally renowned therapy organization Pet Partners.  Each team upholds the standard of excellence that makes Pet Partners the Gold Standard of Therapy Programs.

We are committed to making a difference in every life we touch. A therapy team (dog or cat) registered through Love Dog Adventures, and Pet Partners, is easily identified in the community and on the job by Pet Partner’s signature brown embroidered vest or bandana. Each therapy team is covered by Pet Partner’s general liability policy while working.

Our mission is to improve the health and well being of our clients through programs incorporating the powerful connection between dogs and humans.  To achieve our mission we promote the valuable role of animal-assisted therapy in our community by providing a variety of fun and educational programs designed to build self-esteem, tolerance, acceptance, confidence and teach children and adults to love and respect all living beings.

“All Animal-Assisted Therapy” provides therapy teams, partnering with healthcare facilities.

“Story Time with the Love Dogs” provides the opportunity for children to read to and with the dogs enhancing student reading skills.

Power of Pets is comprised of two programs:

“Be Cool, Not Cruel” – our anti-bullying initiative targeting young students. This student-directed learning experience focuses discussion on tolerance and acceptance through the eyes of the animal.
Response to Intervention – a program for children and their families who are affected by challenges to learning and other special needs. Through the use of their senses they can make that critical connection with the animals, including eye contact, speech and touch.
