We are an open public facility Animal Control Shelter, city owned and operated. Our service area is the Boulder City Township. We provide shelter to feral, stray, abandoned or owned animals within our jurisdiction. Suitable animals not claimed or released to their owners are put up for adoption, after the minimum impound period. Animals are frequently brought to the shelter from the Lake Mead Recreation area and Hoover Dam.
